What kind of scenic spot is Tuoliang Scenic Spot?

Tuoliang Scenic Area belongs to the famous scenic spot of Shijiazhuang's cultural landscape.

Located at the junction of Hebei and Shanxi provinces at the northwest end of Pingshan county, Hebei province, it is 138 km away from Shijiazhuang city, so it is named because the top of the mountain looks like a hump. The main peak is 228 1 m above sea level, which is the highest peak in Shijiazhuang and one of the five highest peaks in Hebei Province. Here, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, the trees are lush, and the waterfalls are flowing, which is a good place for summer and autumn tourism.

The most commendable thing about Tuoliang is the primeval forest that covers the sun, which varies according to the height of the mountain: the shrub forest at the foot of the mountain, the mixed forest of conifers and broadleaves on the mountainside, and the garden meadow at the top of the mountain. There are many waterfalls in the scenic area, which can be seen everywhere. There are nearly 100 famous waterfalls here, such as Triassic Waterfall, Tian Tong Waterfall, Herringbone Waterfall and Finger Waterfall, which are rare waterfalls in northern China.

The grassland and flower sea on the top of Tuoliang Mountain are even more amazing masterpieces of nature: azaleas, trollius, lilies and flowers are scattered among the green grass, just like fairyland.

The mid-autumn leaves in Tuoliang are especially a scenery that can't be missed. Every year after the autumnal equinox, it coincides with the Mid-Autumn National Day, and the red leaves with different shades all over the mountains decorate it wonderfully and charmingly.

Tuoliang is a transit station connecting Xibaipo and Wutai Mountain.
