Experience sharing for candidates preparing for the examination
My journey of preparing for the selection examination
On the afternoon of April 28, 2021, I learned that I was to be admitted as a selected transfer student of the ** Municipal Procuratorate. I really felt very of excitement and excitement. I would like to take this opportunity to talk about my journey of preparing for the legal examination examination, hoping that it will be helpful to my fellow students in their preparation for the examination.
Why should I apply for transfer? This was when our counselor gave us some career planning courses during our freshman year. It was at that time that I first heard the term "selected students". It seems that it was also from that time that the seed of "selected students" was planted in my heart. . After that, I often paid attention to relevant information, and actively talked with counselors to understand policies and actual situations. I also joined some seniors to learn about the specific work conditions of the selection. When preparing for the exam, I often asked seniors Our seniors and seniors are very friendly when it comes to asking for advice on study experience. You must feel free to ask for advice, and they will definitely teach you everything they have. I really want to thank many seniors and seniors for their help in my preparation experience along the way.
On the other hand, I am a law student. The selection of students is divided into legal examination and party and government. In addition, the transfer students are required to work back to their place of residence. I think that returning to my hometown and using the knowledge I have learned to give back to my hometown is a very meaningful thing and can also realize my social value. It was also based on my love for the legal profession and my hope to use professional knowledge to serve the public. With this idea in mind, I decided to apply for transfer.
If you don’t accumulate steps, you can’t reach a thousand miles; if you don’t accumulate small streams, you can’t become a river. I have studied hard for four years in college, actively participated in student work after studying, and actively signed up for major-related competitions. I think these are very important to me.
Find your comrades and charge into battle together. I worked hard to learn professional knowledge in college for four years and passed the 2020 law exam. Preparing for the law exam is also a difficult process. The key is to be focused, focused, and perseverant. It is best to find one or two comrades to supervise each other every day, exchange learning experiences with each other, chat together during meals, and take a walk to relax after meals. I am especially grateful that I always had a group of very good comrades who encouraged each other when I was preparing for the exam. Although there were times when I was confused, helpless and discouraged, I could always be quickly inspired by each other, cheer up and rekindle my fighting spirit. Although we are retreating in words, we are still charging ahead in action and moving forward bravely. If young people don't struggle now, when will we?
Learning should combine theory and practice. I have been interning at the Procuratorate since the beginning of this semester, helping prosecutors organize transcripts and files, and assisting prosecutors in interrogating criminal suspects. I think everything is the best arrangement. Every road you take will not be in vain. Every road has different scenery, not to mention you may pick up a beautiful pebble on this road. ——This brings me to my interview for selecting transfer students. The first question my interviewer asked me was: "Huh? Why do I look much thinner than in the photo?" Who could have predicted how the interview would start? What about? I just answered casually: "Oh~ maybe I have been busy as an intern in the Procuratorate recently." Good guy, I took the initiative to introduce a new topic, and the interviewer started asking me about matters related to my internship in the Procuratorate, and I answered fluently. Fortunately, the interview was completed happily and smoothly. Therefore, you must answer honestly during the interview. The interviewer will ask you detailed questions, so it is very important to answer honestly.
Actively participate in extracurricular activities. In order to better practice my expressive skills, I joined the Debate Association since my freshman year. In my junior year, the team won the "Kaixuan Shield Cup" National College Court Debate Competition Award. I also actively led my classmates to participate in moot court competitions. When participating in a competition, you must have the mentality of trying more and exercising more. The important thing is to participate. It doesn't matter whether you win or lose. Just go out and see the world and you will make money. Thinking about it now, I feel that I was too bold to participate in the "Kaixuan Shield Cup" National College Court Debate Competition. After all, my strength was average, but I was eager to seize this opportunity to break through myself. The key is to take action. Hesitate less, act more decisively, dare to think and do. I remember that it was still the final month and there were final paper assignments for various subjects, but I still signed up and did not participate in the CET-6 exam that was on the same weekend as the competition.
So, if you give up, you will gain. Don't make excuses for yourself, seize the opportunity and arrange your time reasonably. Opportunities are always reserved for those who are prepared.
Actively participate in student work after studying. The selection of students requires some student cadre experience, but we do not need to be so utilitarian in participating in student work. If we have the opportunity, we should actively strive for it, exercise and improve ourselves. I have been a class study committee member since my freshman year. I was the first to get to know the whole class and serve as a bridge of communication between students and teachers. As a new media officer of the Federation of Social Social Sciences in my freshman year, I have mastered some publicity skills. In his sophomore and junior years, he served as deputy director of youth media of the school youth league committee and made good work of the school league committee website. During my student work, I improved my work skills. Student work made me more careful and patient. These experiences are very valuable assets.
Maintain a good attitude and be a positive and good young man. My classmates always say that I am a happy person. I am a person who loves to laugh and can always deal with difficulties positively. I actively participated in various volunteer activities, joined the college's "Building Mang Team" to help blind families, and went to poor families to provide public welfare teaching services. These volunteer services made me feel that there are still many people in the society who need help, and they also planted the seeds in my heart of serving the people at the grassroots level.
No matter when, maintain a positive attitude, exercise more, and maintain physical and mental health. The body is the capital of revolution. During the preparation period, I often listened to music and walked after dinner. During the epidemic, I went to bed early and got up early every day. During my review period, I often used keep and other software to follow videos to do some aerobic or anaerobic exercise to keep my body and mind comfortable, and my immunity also improved. , and I almost didn’t get sick during the preparation period.
Regarding the exam mentality, I always have the mentality of laying the foundation and not putting too much pressure on myself. In fact, during such a long preparation process, I sometimes felt that I was not good at it, but I always had the mentality of laying the foundation and felt that it would not be a loss anyway, so I quickly took the time to study hard - such as reviewing for the law exam. Later on, when the objective questions were about to be taken, I found them very difficult and felt like I couldn't pass them. However, I still reviewed and reviewed the knowledge points over and over again. I felt that if I had nothing to do, I would go over them a few more times to prepare for next year's objective questions, or if I was lucky, I would also prepare for the next exam. I was laying the foundation and preparing for the subjective questions of the month. When I took the subjective questions later, I felt it was very difficult and felt like I couldn’t do it anymore, so I comforted myself that I had learned well and was laying the foundation for next year. After the law test, I was preparing non-stop. Everyone should know that if you fail the law examination, your qualifications for the legal examination will be cancelled. The results of the law exam came out very late, so I took a gamble and devoted myself to preparing for the exam. I comforted myself by saying that it would not be a loss if I failed the law exam. If I failed the law exam and would not be qualified for the exam, it would be to save money in a few months. To lay the foundation for the exam or public institution exam, it’s okay, just learn it quickly. In this way, I am a "laying the basics" maniac, deceiving myself that I should learn it first anyway, and it won't be a loss!
Thank you for meeting me. Because the end of the law exam was only about a month away from the selection exam, and I had no experience in preparing for the public exam before, I was afraid that I would go astray in the dark. After consultation and repeated consideration, I decisively decided to enroll in a class and study on my own. Just like a rushing donkey who tied an apple in front of his forehead at the end of the marathon preparation for the exam, I pushed myself hard and thanked the very excellent and responsible teachers. For example, during the mock interview, Teacher Lin gave me a lot of help. Encourage me to express myself boldly from the beginning of my speech, which was a bit stumbling. Thank you for meeting me!
Fortunately, I have given my best in preparing for the legal exams and selection during the whole year, so I hope that my brothers and sisters will also strengthen their faith, aim at the goal, go all out, and successfully land!
Finally, I would like to end with a particularly good quote I saw during my exam preparation:
Young man, your duty is to level the land, not to worry about time. What you do in March and April will have the answer in August and September.
I hope that we can all experience the joy of making our dreams come true, and we must not forget our original aspirations, keep our mission in mind, and progress will never end.
