How to log on to Cisco's router through the console under Win7?

1. First, connect the computer to the console port of the router with a console cable.

2. Right-click the layout machine, set it up and connect it through the serial port.

3. Display the version number, model and startup time of the equipment, and display the version.

4. Enter system-view to enter the system view, sysname R 1, and configure the host name.

5. Then enter the console port. By default, there is no password. Then configure the password, 123456.

6. Finally, if the password is valid, the setting is complete.
