Investigate and correct the use of Chinese characters in the community, so that students can form the habit of using standardized characters correctly from an early age, and through the radiation activities of small hands and big hands, this method of promoting standardized characters in schools will be extended to the whole city to guide citizens to use standardized characters.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) survey content

This paper investigates the use of traditional Chinese characters, tampering with idioms, typos, variant characters and incomplete glyphs in shop signs, signs and billboards in the whole community, in order to urge people to standardize the use of Chinese characters and purify the language environment.

Investigate the causes of intransitive verbs

In our daily life, we sometimes find that Chinese characters are not standardized in doorplates, road signs, billboards and other places. In order to guide the citizens to standardize the use of Chinese characters and cooperate with the "National Putonghua Promotion Week" with the theme of "Love the Chinese language and build a harmonious language life", our school organized some fifth-grade students to carry out "Woodpeckers into the community" activities to investigate and correct the irregular use of Chinese characters in communities, streets and other places.

Seven. Investigation process

At 3: 40 p.m. on April 3rd, under the leadership of the principal and Chinese teacher, more than 40 students of our fifth grade went to Changhong Community to participate in the woodpecker action team organized by the school.

Before we set out, the teacher gave us a division of labor. Eight people are responsible for taking photos, eight people are responsible for communication, and others are responsible for taking notes. After preparation, everyone picked up their notebooks and cameras according to their respective division of labor and set off happily.

We found several cases of nonstandard words in the auto parts city near our school. The store owner wrote the word "yellow" for the decoration as "yellow". Then, we found a wrong idiom "covering the sky with one hand" in front of a barber shop and it was written as "covering the sky with one hand"; In front of a clothing store, "obedient" was written as "obedient". The teacher said that this was written by the shopkeeper on purpose, in order to attract customers' attention, thus creating an advertising effect.

On a wall with many advertisements, we found that someone wrote the word "stone" as the word "earth"; In front of a restaurant, we found that the name of this store is "Sunshine Home". Isn't this "Yang" a traditional Chinese word? We recorded the typos on these billboards or banners, and promptly raised them with the shopkeepers and suggested that they correct them.

After the activity, we also browsed the compositions of five students on the campus network, and found typos and irregular words 14. We will record all these and prepare to communicate with our classmates so that they can understand the significance and influence of standardizing the use of Chinese characters.

Eight. Activity result

We have gained a lot from this activity, and found that there are *** 12 nonstandard words, including those used in signboards, posters, windows and advertisements for the public. Our "woodpecker activity" has attracted the attention of all walks of life, and TV stations have also made special reports on it.
