June 10 is the "capital state-owned enterprise open day". Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group invited citizens to walk into Nangong Domestic Waste Incineration Plant and visit incineration power generation facilities at close range to understand the whole process of waste incineration power generation.

Entering Nangong Domestic Waste Incineration Plant, the environment is beautiful and clean, and the grass is lush. The production building with gray as the main color is avant-garde, with a clear white facade and gray glass curtain wall, showing a sense of modernity and technology.

Nangong Domestic Waste Incineration Plant is located in Nan Dahongmen Village, Daxing District, Beijing, covering an area of 8.2 hectares, with a total construction area of about 30,000 square meters. The designed daily domestic waste treatment capacity is 1 10,000 tons.

Nangong Domestic Waste Incineration Plant was connected to the grid for the first time from June 20 12 to the end of May 20 18. It has been running stably for more than 1 1 month, treating 420,000 tons of domestic garbage and delivering electricity to the national grid10.20 billion kwh.

On the unloading platform, the container garbage truck slowly enters the unloading hall, the door of the garbage bin slowly rises, and the garbage is immediately sent to the garbage bin. After fermentation, the garbage in the warehouse will be transported to the incinerator by a huge garbage crane grab, and the generated heat energy will be converted into kinetic energy to generate electricity, which will eventually be incorporated into the power grid.

The person in charge of the plant introduced that Nangong Incineration Plant mainly serves Dongcheng District, Xicheng District and Daxing District. At the front end, garbage trucks will send the collected domestic garbage to Huanmajialou sorting station and Xiaowuji sorting station for industrial centralized sorting. At the middle end, the mixed garbage is divided into three categories: incineration materials, organic materials and renewable resources after automatic treatment processes such as air separation, drum screening and magnetic separation. Finally, the organic materials will be sent to Nangong bacterial fertilizer plant for composting; Renewable resources such as scrap metal and plastic will be used as resources; Incinerated materials are transported to Nangong Incineration Plant for incineration and power generation.

The slag generated by garbage incineration is transported to Anding landfill for reuse, and the generated fly ash is handed over to a qualified professional company for disposal.

The biggest worry is that the smoke generated by garbage burning will not cause harm to human body. Because in the flue gas emission link, the waste incineration plant implements the EU pollutant emission standards.

According to reports, Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group undertakes the heavy responsibility of nearly 60% of domestic garbage disposal in Beijing. In recent years, the sanitation group has carried out comprehensive renovation of Majialou sorting and transfer station, Xiaowuji sorting and transfer station and other facilities, and built and operated a number of sanitation infrastructures such as Nangong Incineration Plant, Pinggu Incineration Plant and Asuwei Incineration Plant, which has improved the solid waste treatment capacity of the capital.
