Investigation report on "Typos on the street"

Purpose of investigation: Search for typos on the street and exchange feelings , make correction suggestions to relevant departments.

Analysis of investigation materials: Through a day's social investigation, it can be seen that there are still typos on the streets.

We conducted a survey and checked the signboards of 35 companies. 1. At the entrance of the hotel: "Copy" rice 2. At the entrance of the car repair shop: "Push" for tire repair 3. At the entrance of the retail store: " "Sold separately" 4. Furniture store entrance: home decoration 5. Decoration store entrance: decoration "Huang" 6. Lost property advertisement: lost property "enlightenment" 7. Installation company entrance: "press" decoration 8. Car wash store entrance: car wash decoration "La" 9. The entrance of the hotel: "合" rice 10. The entrance of the fruit shop: "波" Dio... During the survey, we found that the error rate reached 47.1%.

Through discussion, the students believed that the occurrence of typos on the street is mainly caused by the following factors:

1. People in shops do not have much education and habitually write typos.

2. People in the store don’t pay attention to homophonic sounds.

3. It doesn’t matter if you are missing a stroke or think you are missing a stroke.

4. Most of them are written in traditional Chinese characters.

5. Some stores deliberately make mistakes in order to attract attention.

6. Some people input unknown words casually when writing or printing text.

In response to the above phenomenon, the students put forward the following suggestions:

1. Regularly clean up typos on the streets.

2. Make suggestions to some merchants.

3. Write a letter to the relevant departments and ask them to take charge.
