What kind of scenic spot is Shipu Fishing Port?

Shipu Fishing Port is a famous tourist attraction in Ningbo.

one of the four major fishing ports in China, it is known as the important town of Zheyang Middle Road. Shipu Port was first called Li Port. The port area is 18km long and 3km wide. It is a national second-class open port and is listed as one of the four mass fishing ports in China. There are many unique customs, such as March 3, stepping on the beach and offering sacrifices to the sea. Among them, offering sacrifices to the sea is a ceremony for fishermen to seek peace and harvest when they go fishing at sea.

In recent years, the local government has organized the original spontaneous folk ceremonies and held the China Fishing Festival in mid-September every year. The contents include fisherman's lantern festival, sailing ceremony of thousands of boats, fireworks and cultural evening, fisherman's music tourism, local folk lantern dance performance, sea worship ceremony, float parade and so on, which attracted many tourists.
