Our community has gradually entered the elderly community, and the problem of empty nesters has become more and more prominent. According to the actual situation of the community, the community women's Federation decided to carry out the activity of "caring for empty nesters and spreading love around".

The Community Women's Federation attached great importance to this activity, and specially set up the "Care for the Empty Nest Elderly Service Group" to take charge of this activity. The group leader is Qi, the community secretary, who is responsible for the overall planning of the whole activity. Qi, director of the Women's Federation, is the deputy head, responsible for the overall work of the activities. Service team members are composed of family planning service team members, youth league volunteer service team members and community office staff, and are responsible for the specific implementation of each work. After the establishment of the service group, we immediately investigated the empty nesters in the community, and with the cooperation of the residents' group, registered and filed the empty nesters in the community as materials for future work.

Members of the service team went to the supermarket to buy rice, cooking oil and fresh fruit. We visited the empty nesters one by one. The old people were very happy with our arrival and thanked us again and again. We chat with the old people, listen to their past history, listen to their inner emptiness, listen to their difficulties in life, and listen to their gratitude for today's beautiful life ... When they are in high spirits, the old people are dancing and dancing, which is very cute. Let's talk to the old people about the current people's livelihood policies, talk about social anecdotes, give them psychological counseling, and help them untie their hearts and live happily. They say that children are really worried and lonely when they are not around, but they also have their own difficulties and can't give them trouble. I just hope that children will call home more often and go home to have a look. The members of the service group have written down the wishes of the old people and will communicate further in the next work. On the one hand, strengthen contact with the children of the elderly, so that they can understand the voice of the elderly, on the other hand, organize social workers and volunteers to visit the elderly regularly.

In order to make the life of the elderly full and happy, the community women's Federation will organize activities for the elderly regularly. In addition to condolence activities, it will also hold various cultural and sports activities, such as the cultural weekend for the elderly. Community women's federations will do their part to bring happiness, filial piety and care to empty nesters and make them feel warm.
