Dianzhong River is an important river in Longpeng Town. It flows through 9 natural villages in the 4 village committees of Qingshuitang, Longpeng, Dianzhong and Mebu, and finally flows into Gaochong Reservoir through Xincheng and Rural Areas. The quality of its water is directly related to the safety of drinking water in Yilong Town and surrounding areas.

Longpeng Town’s special rectification action on Dianzhong River garbage adopts party and government leadership team members and government agencies to take charge of the villages along the river. Village committees, village groups and the general public work together. The principle of participation is organized and implemented simultaneously in three steps. During the publicity and mobilization, we used the leisure time in the evening to organize 11 village representative meetings in various natural villages along the river, publicized more than 2,800 people to the masses, developed 20 fixed billboards, and posted 31 slogans. At the same time, we will establish and improve the cleaning management and supervision system and the section leader responsibility system, strengthen territorial management responsibilities, and strictly investigate and punish the dumping of domestic sewage and garbage into the Dianzhong River.

By cleaning up and salvaging floating objects such as domestic garbage, agricultural production waste, dead branches and weeds, the water environment of the main line of the Dianzhong River in Longpeng Town has been improved to the point where there is basically no floating objects and the river is smooth.
