How many schools did National Central University and later Southeast University branch off from? How many schools are celebrating their 110th anniversary this year?

Many schools. National Central University was divided into two parts, Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Technology. Nanjing Institute of Technology was later separated into four majors to run a separate school. Then it merged some majors from other schools and became the current Southeast University. Last week, during the Southeast University 110th Anniversary Volunteer Training, I went to listen to Professor Wang Bugao’s explanation of the school’s history. Only Nanyang University and Dongda University are celebrating their 110th anniversary. Others, such as NTU and Nanjing University of Science and Technology, are celebrating their 110th anniversary but have only been established for a short period of time.
