What is the specific level of German A2-B2?

The six levels (A 1, A2, B 1, B2, C 1, C2) of the European unified language reference framework and the language ability required to reach each level.

I can understand and use everyday familiar and specific expressions and very basic sentences related to my preferences. I can introduce or ask and answer personal information about myself or others, such as my place of residence, interpersonal relationships and property. I can only respond to others' slow, clear and helpful conversations in a simple way.

Council of Europe publicly announced that MCER reference standard provides a good foundation for describing individual language skills, and it is an objective, practical, transparent and flexible way. This standard was first adopted by the European Parliament in 20001and has been revised many times since then.

The Framework Standard for European Language Teaching and Assessment comprehensively describes the following contents: necessary communicative competence, relevant knowledge and skills, and communicative situations and fields.

A 1 must reach 75 hours of study time and learn about 500 words, A2- 1 about 150 hours of study time and learn about 1000 words, A2-2 about 225 hours of study time and learn about 1500 words.

B 1- 1 takes about 300 hours to learn about 2000 words, and B 1-2 takes about 400 hours to learn about 2500 words.

This language curriculum planning standard is applicable to many European languages.
