Motor vehicles that illegally occupy emergency lanes or illegally park on expressways and urban expressways will be fined in 200 yuan, with 6 points recorded. When a motor vehicle is driving on the expressway, it is not allowed to exercise in the emergency lane under non-emergency circumstances.

Drivers and passengers can temporarily use emergency lanes:

1. When the vehicle suddenly breaks down and cannot run normally. For example, if the vehicle cannot run normally due to major faults such as flat tire, poor braking, engine failure, non-working gearbox, broken axle, etc., or if the safety of the vehicle and passengers will be seriously affected by continuous driving, it can be parked in the emergency lane;

2. Emergency lanes can be used in emergency situations such as sudden serious illness of passengers in the car, maternal delivery, and candidates rushing to take exams. If the above two situations occur, the vehicle must be parked in the white line of the emergency lane. At the same time, pay attention to turn on the double flashing lights after parking, and place a triangle warning sign at the rear of the vehicle 150 meters. Passengers in the car are not allowed to stay in the car after parking. They should get off and move to a safe area outside the guardrail. Parking in the emergency lane for more than 3 minutes without setting warning signs as required is suspected of illegal parking in the emergency lane;

3 police cars, fire engines, rescue vehicles, ambulances and vehicles engaged in highway management and maintenance activities that perform emergency rescue and other emergency tasks.

Motor vehicles driving on the highway shall not have the following acts:

(a) reversing, retrograde, crossing the median, turning around or parking in the driveway;

(four) driving or parking in the emergency lane under non-emergency circumstances;

(five) test drive or learn to drive a motor vehicle.
