Laiwu District’s Epidemic Prevention and Control Proposal to Citizens and Friends

Dear Citizens:

Recently, a new round of epidemic has spread in many places in China. Local clusters of epidemics have occurred in some areas of the province, and the pressure of "foreign import prevention" has doubled across the region, making the epidemic prevention and control situation severe and complex. In order to effectively implement the measures of "early prevention, early detection, early reporting, early isolation, and early treatment", build a solid line of defense for epidemic prevention and control, minimize the risk of epidemic spread, and protect the health and safety of the people, the following is hereby issued to the people of the region Suggestions:

1. Report in advance and travel with caution. It is advocated that people in the whole region should not leave Lai or travel unless necessary, and should not go to domestic medium- and high-risk areas and cities with local epidemics. If you really need to go out, please pay close attention to the domestic epidemic situation and take personal protection during the trip. Entry and return to Lesotho must be reported to the destination community three days in advance. After returning to Lesotho, nucleic acid testing requirements shall be implemented in accordance with community requirements; persons at risk of epidemics must immediately report to the community, hotel and unit, and cooperate with the implementation of isolation medical observation.

2. Fulfill obligations and take protective measures. Insist on taking the initiative to scan the venue code when entering various public places, taking public transportation, etc., wear masks scientifically, ventilate frequently, wash hands frequently, use one-meter noodles, and use public chopsticks. Do not purchase imported goods, especially cold chain goods, unless necessary, and be cautious when ordering goods from domestic cities with local clusters of epidemics. If symptoms such as fever, dry cough, and chest tightness occur, protective measures should be taken, avoid taking public transportation, and go to the fever clinic of a medical institution immediately.

3. Actively cooperate and participate in testing. At present, the city's normal health screening has been adjusted from "one test every seven days" to "one test every seven days, separate tests for men and women". Mondays focus on sampling for male citizens, and Thursdays focus on sampling for female citizens. Students during holidays participate in two tests regardless of gender. . For those with special needs and those who voluntarily participate in two samplings, there are no gender restrictions. Residents are requested to voluntarily participate in regular nucleic acid testing. Individuals who fail to conduct testing in accordance with regulations, resulting in epidemic prevention and control risks or adverse consequences, will bear corresponding legal responsibilities.

4. Get vaccinated and build a strong barrier. Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 remains the most effective preventive measure at the moment. Currently, the region is focusing on strengthening immunization for people over the age of 18 and vaccination for the elderly over the age of 60. People who meet the vaccination requirements should complete the vaccination as soon as possible to build a solid immunity barrier for the entire population.

5. Scientific epidemic prevention is everyone’s responsibility. Protecting the beautiful Laiwu requires everyone’s active participation. It is hoped that the general public will give full play to their sense of ownership, consciously abide by epidemic prevention and control regulations, actively cooperate with the implementation of various epidemic prevention and control measures, resist all kinds of rumors, and jointly protect the hard-won anti-epidemic results.
