The Summer Resort Museum is located in the largest existing royal garden summer resort in China, and now consists of three groups of buildings: Gongzheng District, Song Hezhai, Wanhe and Songfeng. The Summer Resort Museum is famous for its rich collections. Main Palace: It was completed from the fiftieth year of Kangxi (17 1 1) to the fifty-second year of Kangxi (17 13). In the 19th year of Qianlong (1754), it was renovated and rebuilt, covering an area of 10000 square meters, with 2 19 halls, which was the main place for the Qing emperor to deal with the political affairs and daily life during his stay in Chengde. According to the traditional practice of "flying dragon in the sky is beneficial to see adults" and "natural danger is like nine" in the ninth five-year plan, a nine-fold courtyard with a vestibule and a back bedroom was built. Along the central axis, there are Li Zhengmen, Gongmen, Wumen, Liancheng, Sizhi Bookstore, Viva Photo Studio, Smoke-induced Cooling, Yunshan Resort and Doors in turn, with attached halls, corridors and bedrooms symmetrically arranged on both sides. The whole building not only abides by the regular and solemn pattern of the emperor and the royal family, but also is strewn at random, winding and secluded, full of garden interest. Song Hezhai was built in the 14th year of Qianlong (1749). Located on the east side of the main palace, it is an eight-gold courtyard, which was built by Emperor Qianlong for his mother. In order to prolong Song He's life, it was named "Song He Village". This group of buildings includes the gatehouse, Songhezhai, Leshou Hall, Tenth Five-Year Photo Studio, Pingmen, Jide Hall and Changyuan Building. Jidetang was the place where Emperor Jiaqing studied and lived when he was a prince. Twenty years after Daoguang (1832), the portraits of the Qing emperors were enshrined here. This courtyard is towering with ancient trees, flowers and rocks dotted with it, and the environment is elegant and unique.

Wanhe Song Feng: It is the earliest building complex in the palace area of the Summer Resort. It is located on a high mountain overlooking the lake and surrounded by semi-closed corridors. The main hall and the Songfeng Hall face south, and the other halls are strewn at random, with flexible layout and rich charm of Jiangnan garden architecture.
