First, practical content

In July this year, I ushered in my first summer vacation after entering the university. I know that this means that my first year of college life has come to an end, which makes me sigh that time has passed in a hurry, and then I can't help thinking about what I have done in this year and whether I am worthy of this wonderful time that has passed. The answer is no.

So, I made up my mind to do something in this summer vacation to enrich the meaning of my life. And participating in this summer social practice organized by the school is a wonderful beginning of my summer vacation. As an integral part of urban residents' social life, community has many functions, not only economic functions, but also political and cultural functions, which marks a city's cultural taste, civilization and development trend.

community library is the product of social progress and residents' cultural information demand, and it is a grass-roots public library built in the community. Although the construction of community library is still in its infancy, and the impact of its work is very limited, its importance and its role in promoting the construction of spiritual civilization in the community have gradually emerged.

The task of our team is to formally investigate the current situation of the construction and use of community libraries in some communities in Hangzhou, and make an analysis from special to general and from individual to overall according to the results of the investigation.

In the nearly one week from July 3rd, our Mangyuan Practice Team visited the community libraries of Datieguan Community, Huanglong Community, Beiyuan Community and Xindongyuan Community in Hangzhou, as well as the Zhejiang Library.

during the investigation, we encountered many difficulties. Hot weather, crowded buses, carsickness, ignorant bus routes, uncooperative residents in the community, and strict security at the entrance of the community. However, many difficulties were finally overcome by us. In a week, we successfully completed the scheduled task with sweat.

II. Summary

This practice has made me know more about community libraries. I have my own views on the construction and promotion of community libraries. Although these ideas are still immature, I firmly believe that they are extremely precious, because they are all bought by my sweat.

The more important gain is that I have a new understanding of myself. I found some difficult things that I thought I couldn't do. In fact, as long as I am bold, patient and confident, I can finish them smoothly.

At the same time, I also understand the importance of unity. The spirit of unity is an important factor in leading a team to succeed. Without it, we can't accomplish the practical task. I am very grateful to our team members for being able to unite and do their best to complete the practical work, and also let me leave many good memories in this practice.
