Achievements of Yichang Shanghai Middle School

Shanghai Middle School was rated as an advanced unit of district fire safety.

On May 9th, our school was awarded the honorary title of advanced unit of fire safety in Yiling District at the summary and commendation meeting of fire safety in the whole district held in the conference room of Yiling District Government, which is another honor after our school was awarded the advanced school of safety management by the Municipal Education Bureau. This is not only the result of the long-term care and support of leaders at all levels, but also the result of the conscientious work of all faculty members in our school.

In the process of establishing district-level advanced fire fighting schools, the schools aimed at high-level reality and achieved five goals.

First, the hardware facilities are in place, and the fire-fighting facilities and equipment are readily available, so that the house can be built there and the facilities can be built there. At the same time, for all-round safety management, the school is equipped with three full-time security officers, who patrol all kinds of hidden dangers in the school 24 hours a day and find and rectify them at any time.

Second, prevention publicity and education are in place. The school has special fire bulletin boards and exhibition boards, which are replaced once a month; In students' classrooms, dormitories, stairs and corners, all fire safety propaganda slogans are hung to ensure the seamless connection between publicity and education; At the stairs of each floor, there are evacuation instructions and evacuation signs. Organize students to write a fire tabloid every semester, and organize a fire blackboard newspaper in each class; Invite fire instructors to give one or two lectures on fire protection knowledge to all students every semester; School security personnel shall conduct discipline education at any time according to the situation of each self-inspection, and give lectures or trainings on fire control knowledge to all students through campus video network every month; Conduct one or two drills and two safety lectures. Ensure that education is in place.

Third, the activity drills are in place. At the beginning of the school year, the school hired fire brigade officers and soldiers to conduct fire fighting and escape drills for students; Usually, the school conducts drills every day according to the order and formation of fire evacuation, and returns to the classroom according to the standard of eyes, and the training is normalized. During the semester, the school organized students to conduct a fire drill.

Fourth, the inspection is in place. The school has set up a special fire brigade and three full-time security guards to patrol all kinds of hidden dangers in the school for 24 hours, so as to find and rectify them at any time, and establish a fire safety log or patrol log.
