Why do you feel that most rural children can't go to high school?
I have been teaching in township middle schools for 8 years. Let's talk about the number of high school students in our rural schools. There are three classes in Grade 9, including one key class with 50 students. There are two ordinary classes, each with 80 students. Among them, 16 people were admitted to county key high schools and 30 people were admitted to ordinary high schools. However, less than 30 students in the two ordinary classes took the senior high school entrance examination, less than 10 students were admitted to the ordinary high school (rural high school), 0 students were admitted to the county key high school, and 0 students were admitted to the county sub-key high school. Only 30 students in ordinary class 160 took the senior high school entrance examination. Why? What about the remaining 130 people? As we know, at present, middle school students are separated, some of them are studying in high school, some are studying technology in vocational high schools or technical schools, and some are separated. There are still some people who have no plans to go to high school. First, my grades are not high, and second, I don't want to study. I am grateful to finish junior high school.
Later, I transferred to another township junior high school. Although this junior high school is a rural junior high school, it is close to the county seat. I have been teaching the ninth grade regular class for one year. There are 83 students in the class. Later, 55 students took the senior high school entrance examination, 0 students were admitted to the county key high school, 9 students were admitted to the sub-key high school, and more than 20 students were admitted to the rural high school. That is to say, of the 88 people in the class, 55 are in junior high school and about 30 are in senior high school. Of course, the students who are most likely to go to college are the nine sub-key high schools in the county (the schools in the county are second only to the key high schools in the county).
It can be seen that the closer students are to the county, the more opportunities they have to attend high school, and the greater expectations parents have for their children. The above picture is the slogan of a township junior high school, because there are poor students in the school. What is the slogan proposed by the school? Can't finish junior high school and go to work? It means that if you don't finish junior high school and go to work, people won't want you. So you must finish junior high school first.
As a result, the proportion of rural township middle schools entering high schools is too low. As a rural teacher, I think there are mainly the following points.
1. Parents have a low level of education and do not attach importance to education. Reading is of little use? The idea is at work.
Now the rural economic conditions are getting better and better. Some rural parents have low academic qualifications, but they dare to fight and have strong economic strength. I feel that I can make a lot of money with a low education. Children don't need such a high degree, just go to junior high school.
I remember once, a parent came to me and told me not to teach his children too well. He doesn't want their children to go to high school, and he is worried that their children will be admitted to high school in the future, and no one will help him. He is the owner of a farm, with hundreds of pigs at home, and his income is quite rich. It's really unheard of, and parents find teachers, hoping that teachers will leave their students alone and worry about their children's poor grades?
2. There are not many students who are willing to learn, and there is no learning atmosphere faster than learning.
Many township middle schools should be divided into key classes and ordinary classes. If we don't distinguish between key classes and ordinary classes, it is estimated that there are really too few high school students in township middle schools. I said at the beginning of the article that 2 10 students are divided into one key class and two ordinary classes. The task of key classes is to study hard in high school and go to college. The task of ordinary classes is to complete nine-year compulsory education. Parents have no problem with different class orientation, because some parents don't want their children to go to high school, and their children know that they use a dialect? Not a school textbook? .
I'm just a village teacher. Although the money earned is better than some people who don't go to college. But I still believe? Knowledge changes fate? .
Remember the story of herding sheep? In fact, there is a follow-up. Later, the shepherd boy was admitted to the university, opened a farm, raised more sheep and learned scientific management. He was asked that you went to college and are still herding sheep. What's the use of going to college? Shepherd said: going to college has let me know why to herd sheep and how to expand the scale, which has broadened my horizons!
