Liu Beimao

Liu Beimao (193-1981), alias Shou Ci, was born in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, and was a famous modern erhu player, composer and educator. The Road to Art

Liu Beimao has a good memory and strong imitation. He studied English in a missionary school in primary school, and later became a famous linguist with Lv Shuxiang. He taught English in our school when he was in high school. He was admitted to Soochow University in 1923, and then admitted to yenching university as a transfer student. At the age of 29, he became an English professor in Peking University, and he was a famous expert on Shakespeare studies.

After Liu Tianhua's death, Liu Bannong said to him, "The second brother's children are still young, and there are not many students who have lived up to expectations. It seems that you should inherit the second brother's career." Since then, Liu Beimao has changed to music.
