Continuation of Life Science with Seed Spirit —— Thoughts on activities in memory of Professor Zhong Yang

/kloc-On the morning of May 0/9, I stood in front of the portrait of Chairman Mao. Fudan is low-key, elegant and fresh, and everything makes people feel so at ease. You can deeply feel that the whole campus is full of literati atmosphere. Because of the spring season, the logo of Fudan Window on campus is also so harmonious and blooming in spring. A banner slogan promoted the sentence: "The way I love you is to let you have a stable home". I am very touched. Although I don't face the sea, the surrounding environment is harmonious and beautiful. The bus in Fudan is driving slowly behind me to make way for pedestrians.

I was curious about this teaching building when I followed President Feng's motorcade on Guanghua Road. I have always felt that science is far away from me. Life science is closely related to health. A long time ago, I heard a retired doctor say that this subject is highly valued abroad, and I think life science is noble. So, I walked into the Liren Biological Building for the first time, and walked into the sacred road of the Academy of Life Sciences with admiration by stepping into the hall.

This is the first half of the work meeting of Fudan University Alumni Association Working Committee. Feel the tolerance of Fudan University, so that I can visit and attend meetings in Liren Biology Building. Fudan scholars' opinions exude warm sunshine and soul, and are free and useless literati. The meeting was presided over by Lu Changxiang, Deputy Secretary General of the Alumni Association. Introduce the activities and expectations of the working Committee in the first half of the year. Secretary-General Zhang Huan and Assistant Ding Yiwen introduced the rehearsal, activity background and recruitment of the choir respectively.

The 4 1 year-old young Party Secretary of Fudan University led us to know that Fudan University now has Jiangwan Campus, Handan Campus and LAM Raymond Campus, as well as Medical Library and Zhangjiang Library. He is full of smiles and sunshine. Welcome to Fudan and learn about Fudan. Young students are welcome to actively apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. And hope to put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions.

Professor Zhong Yang's teaching assistant introduced us to Professor Zhong's touching deeds before his death. He loves and develops science and encourages Tibetan students to study science hard. I think this is a kind of spiritual research outside of plant science. The establishment of doctoral program in Tibet is the transmission of tutor spirit. Inheriting Professor Zhong's own ethics, scientific research technology and achievements. There is a famous saying: "It is better to teach people to fish than to teach them to fish." Pass on the love for students, with Tibet and Fudan as seeds. A stable home is the reward of these generations of masters who have made selfless contributions to the motherland by passing on their strength and spiritual wealth. Our generation and future generations need to persist and inherit at all times.

Professor Zhong Yang is careful, patient and has a sense of responsibility as a scholar. He recorded everyone's little things. Many times, the assistant teacher can't stand it anymore, and advises him to let go of everything. But Professor Zhong has always been patient with everyone who looks for him and will tick the list after everything is completed.

In the afternoon, I drove an hour to Lingang, visited Guan Hai Park in the south of Lingang, and inspected the plant planting base. The landmark sculpture of the park is a double-layer grid structure composed of stainless steel pipes, and the total steel consumption is about 120 tons. Viewed from the side, it looks like a huge whale. Some alumni explained that this place is the ends of the earth in Shanghai. I think this description is really beautiful and nice. I hope it can become one of the poetic landmarks of Shanghai in the future.

Around the coordinate point of Nanhuizui, there is the coordinate boundary pillar of the world's top ten port cities, which is engraved with the latitude and longitude of each port and the linear distance to Shanghai. I chose Marseille as a boundary marker because I once saw a movie called la vie en rose, in which the hero's plane crashed and the lark called his name with a trembling cry, that is, "Marseille". Hearing this voice, my heart began to tremble, just like when I was a child, I heard my classmate's mother calling her son at the scene of a car accident. This is so tragic and painful that I will never forget it. We all need a stable home, thank you for giving it.

After growing up, we walked down the slope for the first time, set foot on the yellow land and bathed in the sun. Before planting rows of plants, we listened carefully to their names and planting methods. Each alumnus also harvested a seed and went home to plant it. The teacher taught us the method, so I began to ask, is it possible to take photos six months later to show how the seeds bloom and bear fruit?

Taking pictures as a souvenir on the last return trip, the photographer and cameraman took photos from different angles. Trivia exposure, standing opposite the camera, joking or serious, I just want to use my camera to record the harmonious figure of two people opposite. Very interesting. Young people and old people are a combination. Perhaps the current communication can transcend age, gender, voice and language, or perhaps the way of communication can make each other live in the real world and accomplish the same thing together.
