Zhongshan North Road Campus Dormitory Overview:

Zhongshan North Road Campus is located at No. 3663, Zhongshan North Road, Putuo District, adjacent to the Suzhou River. The dormitories on campus mainly include apartments and ordinary dormitories. Except for the dormitories used for temporary accommodation of cross-campus internship students, which still have 8 rooms, most of them are 4-person rooms. The apartments have independent bathrooms and no hot water showers, and the ordinary dormitories have public bathrooms. There is no hot water shower in the wash area. Each dormitory area has public bathrooms, which are open at fixed times. After circuit upgrades in 2011, each dormitory can be equipped with air conditioners. Students need to pay a rental fee to apply for installation. Please refer to the relevant notice for details.

Minhang Campus Dormitory Overview:

Minhang Campus is located in Wujing Town, Minhang District, adjacent to Shanghai Jiao Tong University Minhang Campus. The on-campus apartments are mainly undergraduate apartments, most of which are 4-person rooms. There are two washing areas on each floor. There are public bathrooms on the first floor with hot water showers and are open at fixed times. Each dormitory can be equipped with air conditioners. Students need to pay a rental fee to apply for installation. Please refer to the relevant notice for details.

Features of the dormitory:

Due to the annual change in the ratio of male to female students, some dormitories have separate floors for men and women. The school does not provide rooms for couples to live together.

Some dormitories are rented to students for cross-campus internships, prospective students taking the graduate entrance examination, or students' relatives and friends. They need to have on-campus teachers and students as guarantors.

Accommodation fee standards:

Accommodation fees are charged according to the academic year, and each academic year starts from September when new students enroll to June of the following year. The general dormitory fee at Zhongshan North Road Campus is RMB 700-900 per person per academic year, the apartment fee is RMB 1,200 per person per academic year; the student apartment at Minhang Campus is RMB 1,200 per person per academic year.

Dormitory arrangements:

After the newly admitted freshmen are assigned student numbers by the Student Affairs Office and the Graduate School, the Logistics Support Department will allocate rooms to each entity department based on the number of admitted students and the campus. The department then allocates rooms to individual students.

Dormitory management:

There is an access control gate at the door of each dormitory. Students staying in this building need to swipe their campus card to pass, and visitors need to register and hold their ID before entering. Visitor time is strictly limited, please check the relevant management regulations for details.
