In areas with territorial disputes with China, such as the Sino-Indian border checkpoint, the Indian People's Liberation Army is mainly stationed.

Third, from the perspective of different security levels.

Under the normalization of border management, the border armed police are on duty. If the border situation is tense and the combat readiness level rises, there may be foreign invasion or a large number of refugees, and the border armed police may not be able to cope with it, and the regular army will take over the border.
