Generally speaking, this list is not much different from previous years. Beijing leads the list by several times. Hangzhou undoubtedly leads the second-tier cities again, and even surpasses the first-tier city Guangzhou. The remaining cities There are one or two scattered here and there.

How many Fortune 500 companies a city can produce is a key indicator for judging the economic quality of a city. The Fortune 500 headquarters have always only taken root in leading cities with rich resources. Through the distribution of local Fortune 500 headquarters, we can also better observe the "real strength" of a city.

Beijing once again topped the list with “60 local Fortune 500 headquarters”. The reason why Beijing dominates the list is also quite crude. But strictly speaking, New Hope has always been rooted in Sichuan and Chengdu, and the focus of the group’s business has always been in Sichuan. In general, the current high-end resource adsorption capacity of Chengdu and Chongqing is obviously insufficient. As an inland city, Chengdu and Chongqing have been in the second-tier economic hub of the country during the reform and opening up in the past few decades. The flow of factors is weaker than that of coastal cities, and the financial strength of Chengdu and Chongqing is also much inferior to that of coastal cities. Therefore, even if Sichuan and Chongqing can cultivate local Fortune 500 companies, it will be difficult for companies to put their headquarters in Chengdu and Chongqing.
