Public Health and HIV/AIDS

Bayer China attaches great importance to promoting public health and actively participates in activities to combat HIV/AIDS. In addition to producing a large number of pharmaceutical and health products to prevent, diagnose and treat human and animal diseases, it also actively supports society to deal with public health issues.

The most important such work of the Bayer Group is undoubtedly the "Tsinghua-Bayer Public Health and AIDS Media Research Laboratory" project. The project was officially launched at the end of 2004 to encourage and train media practitioners to report on HIV/AIDS, other chronic diseases and health care-related issues in China, thereby creating a national platform for medical and health care reporting.
