Items related to migration and mobility include: household registration status, household registration nature, native place, when to live in this township street, where to live in this township street, type of migration location, reasons for migration, permanent residence five years ago, etc., which truly reflect the changes of population migration and mobility.

The items related to the population education level include: literacy rate, education level, academic completion, etc. These items are filled in by people aged 6 and above.

In the fifth national census, people aged 65,438+05 and above were asked to fill in six items about the economic characteristics of the population, namely, whether they have a job, working hours, industry, occupation, unemployment status and the main source of livelihood of the unemployed.

In terms of marriage and childbearing, the census designed two fertility items for women of childbearing age aged 15 to 50, namely, the number of children born in the year before the census and the fertility status.

It is the first time in China to combine population census with housing survey. In the short list of the 2000 census, there are two items related to housing, namely "Number of Households" and "Building Area of Households". There are 15 housing items on the long list of the census table, including the number of rooms, building area, housing use, whether to share the rent, completion time, whether to have a kitchen, housing purchase and construction costs, etc.
