Some community hospitals in Xiamen open fever clinics to further strengthen influenza prevention and treatment

In order to further strengthen the prevention and control of influenza, the Municipal Health Commission issued the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Prevention and Control of Influenza" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") on the 24th.

The "Notice" requires all district health bureaus, all fever clinics across the city, and some private medical institutions to take further effective measures to ensure the orderly development of influenza prevention and control work. First, the waiting area in the hospital should have sunshade, cooling and other heatstroke prevention measures to put people first and improve service awareness. Second, Gulangyu Community Health Service Center, Xinkaiyuan Hospital, Qianpu Hospital, and Huli District Maternal and Child Health Hospital will open fever clinics from June 25. Third, the health bureaus of the four districts outside the island must select at least two community health service centers (including health centers) within their jurisdiction to open fever clinics from June 25. Fourth, diagnosis and treatment services can be provided to all patients after nucleic acid sampling.

At present, the fever clinics of Huli District Maternity and Infant Hospital, Xiang'an District Xindian Health Center, and Qianpu Hospital have opened for treatment, and the remaining fever clinics will open one after another after preparations are completed. (Xiamen Daily reporter Chen Shun)
