The Legend of Master Shi
(Author Shi Mingyuan, 1985.5. 15)
Master Shi, famous for Shu, is a native of Gangu. A disciple of Confucius, one of the seventy-two sages.
It is said that when the old grandfather in Song Dynasty (Ming Tingzhen, the father of a talented son) advocated the supervision and repair of the canal, he excavated a tombstone of Shifuzi near Shilipu, which proved that Shifuzi's grave was there. Father Song reported this matter to the county, and Shi Xiu of Shanshan was named as the "Iron Champion" to show his respect for the teacher. He is also a descendant of the master. Who knows that this has caused entanglements. The Shi family in Shilipu made a statement that Master Shi was their ancestor and had nothing to do with the Shi family in Dashan. Lei Guang Dean, the county magistrate at that time, collapsed. He said, "A stone word cannot be broken. Shilipu Shi surname and Shijia Dashan people are descendants of Shi Fuzi. " And gave Shilipu Stone an' iron champion' position. So a stream of people ended.
Therefore, Shilipu Shi Jia built a temple for Master Shi in the north of Shilipu Avenue, and the front door read "Saint Shizuozi Temple". The people of Dashan in Shijia set up two stone tablets, "Hometown of Shengmen Stone" and "Leigong Virtue", which stood on the east and west sides of the temple gate respectively. It can be seen that Shizuizi Temple is the location of Master Shi's grave. But most people know that it is the Shifuzi Temple, and they don't know that its temple was built on a graveyard.
Where is Master Shi from in Gangu? Please look at the legend about the teacher. Believe it or not.
According to the old people, Ai, Liang and Huang are all Mawus, originally from Shijiadashan, and Shijiadashan was originally from Mawus. According to legend, Ai and others told the stone family that it was best to go up the mountain, and a large piece was dug with one shovel, so the bamboo on Zhuangxi's back could be woven into baskets to make money. How wonderful! The beach in Sichuan is not easy to do ... Later, I don't know what happened in the middle, so it became a reality. Sure enough, Sichuanese became mountain people, and mountain people became Sichuanese. This is a "nonsense" that no one can believe. No matter how stupid a person is, even a child under the age of ten will not be fooled like this. This is simply something that can never be established. But strangely enough, there is still evidence that no one can deny. Anyone over the age of 60 will know this ironclad fact and will always stay in the memory of the people concerned. Look at the facts:
Today, the tomb of the ancestors of Ma Wu Temple is located in Shijiashan (Pingshangwan, the tomb of Zhuangding Southeast Site). It is said that Aijiaping is one of Ai's former residences, so there is a place between Aijiaping and Hehe. There are many cypress trees stacked together in the grave, all of which were cut down on the eve of liberation. Liang and Huang's ancestral graves are all in the mountains, each with two. The ancestral graves of these three surnames are all within five miles of their village, Fiona Fang. Today, Aijiafen and Huangjiafen are still used as place names, which is well known, because the graves were leveled after liberation. Shi Zufen is in the south of Zhaizhuang Highway today. Every year, when Tomb-Sweeping Day visits the grave, there is a "Tomb-Sweeping Day", which takes turns to collect rent according to the number of rooms. This is because there is a piece of land next to the cemetery, which was rented by the surname Shi of Zhaizhuang (the land next to the cemetery was sold by Shi Qingquan and Shi Tingdong with the consent of the partnership as early as 1937, and a primary school was built for Zhuang Jian. The students at that time were all in their fifties. At that time, Shi lived in a village five miles away from Dijiazhuang and Shilipu.
According to the ancestral graves and residential addresses of people in Ma Wu Temple and Shijia Mountain above, there is no doubt. Then, it seems that the collective exchange of truth and falsehood between people in Ma Wu Temple and Shijiadashan Village is consistent. (Now it can only be regarded as a doubtful legend, which needs to be tested)
On this basis, why didn't Ai, Liang and Huang of Ma Wu Temple bury their ancestors on the boundary of the mountain? Similarly, Shijiashan people no longer bury their ancestors in Zhaizhazhuang and Shilipu. Why don't Shi Jia kiln people bury their ancestors in Zhaizhazhuang and Shilipu? (This is because Shilipu surnamed Shi said that they moved from Shijiayao. However, I have never heard of the time when Shijiayao people went to Ma Wu Temple, Zhaizhazhuang, Shilipu and other places to have any ancestral bones. If the Shi surname of Shilipu is not from Shijiayao, but has been a local old household since ancient times, then they are the only descendants of Shi Fuzi. To say the least, as long as they live in Gangu County, Shi's surname may all be descendants of Shi Fuzi. Although they live in different places, they are very close. There is no doubt about it.
So now I want to ask Master Shi where he comes from in Gangu. Shilipu people, Mawusi people, Shijiadashan people, or Shijiayao people? According to the inference of the previous facts, since the man surnamed Shi in Ma Wu Temple is playing tricks on the mountain, his ancestral grave can't go with others, so we can only say that Master Shi is a mountain, not because of the location of his grave. This is the same as a tree with roots and branches.
Secondly, how old is Master Shi now? Because of its long history, no one says that History has no genealogy or chronology. Today can only be a rough estimate. Fortunately, according to Wen Wei Po1April 1985 14, Descendants of Confucius Talk about Confucius (Confucius Reading Notes, page 5, section 5): "Last September, it was the 2535th anniversary of Confucius' birth, and Kong Decheng, the 77th grandson of Confucius, was 65 years old this year." It can be seen that Confucius was still a student, 20 years later than Confucius, and it was also the anniversary of 25 16. The descendants are one generation behind, and my generation is the seventy-sixth generation. (This article was written at the invitation of Gangu Local Records Editorial Committee)
