The Significance of "One Strike and Three Remedies" in Fujian Province

In order to effectively reduce the serious excess of marine fishing intensity, protect the marine ecological environment, and revitalize Zhejiang fishing grounds, Zhejiang Province has decided to launch a special law enforcement action of "one strike and three renovations" in fishing grounds in about three years from this year.

The so-called "one strike and three rectifications" refers to severely cracking down on illegal production and business operations such as fishing-related "three noes" ships (referring to ships with no name, port of registry and ship certificate used for fishery production and business activities) and violating fishing moratorium regulations, and comprehensively carrying out rectification of "ship certificate discrepancy" (referring to the fact that the actual main dimensions and main engine power of the ship are inconsistent with the contents recorded in the corresponding certificates), banning fishing gear and rectifying marine environmental pollution.
