How to write poetry

We should master and use three expression techniques to create artistic conception when creating poetry: Fu, comparison and xing.

1. "Fu" refers to direct narration, description or lyricism, using the line drawing technique.

2. "Bi" means metaphor or comparison. Generally, concrete things are used to compare abstract things.

3. "Xing" refers to the rise of something, that is, a poem wants to express certain thoughts and feelings, but it does not go straight to the theme, but first writes from other things to lead to the topic. Go up to the object that the author wants to write about.

It is better to state the facts and express your feelings directly. Change abstraction into concreteness and image, and focus on comparison. Fu, Bi, and Xing should be used together in poetry creation.

Extended information:

1. The expression of emotions in poetry often relies on specific images. The image of poetry is an image that incorporates the poet's emotions, which is called imagery. It means emotion, and Xiang is an image. Once the images in life are incorporated into poetry, they are already tainted with the emotions that the poet wants to express, and all scenes and words are love words.

2. Modern poetry does not need to emphasize the rhyme of even sentences everywhere, but if every stanza can have a sense of rhythm, it will definitely be much more effective than a poem with scattered verses and no rhyme.

3. Imagination has associations and fantasies. Association is the imagination from here to there. The use of association can enrich the content of poetry.
