School-running characteristics of Shenzhen Wenhui Middle School

The school follows the principle of "facing all and educating people in an all-round way" and has successively created Taekwondo and folk music courses, forming a school-running feature of "taekwondo for martial arts and folk orchestra for culture". Now Taekwondo has been listed as a traditional sports event in schools in Baoan District and has become a shining brand of the school. Since the Taekwondo course was launched in 1997, more than 1,000 students have participated in the training. They have participated in 2 national, 12 provincial, and 5 municipal championships, and have achieved remarkable results. ***Won first place in the team total score 14 times and second place twice; won 101 gold medals, 73 silver medals, and 68 bronze medals. The two won national championships. ***More than 40 people have reached the national first-level athlete standard, and 113 people have reached the national second-level athlete standard; 4 athletes have been sent to the provincial team and 4 outstanding athletes have been sent to the city sports school. One person has now entered the national training team. In April 2005, a 6-member high-level delegation from the World Taekwondo Association, including the president and president, visited our school and gave high praise to the development of our school's taekwondo project. In August 2006, our school’s taekwondo team represented the Guangdong Provincial Team and the Shenzhen Amateur Sports School Team in the National Popular Taekwondo Championship and the National Youth Taekwondo Championship, respectively, and achieved good results of 2 golds, 2 silvers, 6 bronzes and 12 fifth places.
