How to calculate the electricity consumption of construction sites?

(1) Temporary electricity consumption on the construction site includes power consumption and lighting consumption, and the electricity consumption is calculated according to the following conditions:

1) Electricity consumption of electric mechanical equipment, electric tools and lighting used in the whole site;

2) The maximum number of electrical and mechanical equipment used in the construction peak period in the general construction schedule;

3) The use of various electrical and mechanical equipment at work.

The total power consumption is calculated according to the following formula:

P =1.05 ––1.10 (k1σ p1/KOS θ+k2σP2+k3σP3+k4σP4).

P-total demand capacity of power supply equipment (KVA);

P1———————— Rated power of motor (kW);

P2- rated capacity of welding machine (kva);

P3—— indoor lighting capacity (kW);

P4—— outdoor lighting capacity (kW);

Cosθ—— the average power factor of the motor (the highest at the construction site is 0.75-0.78; Generally 0.65-0.75);

K 1, K2, K3, K4-demand coefficient;

K 1 (motor) = 0.5-0.7

K2 (welding machine) =0.6

K3 (indoor lighting) =0.8

K4 (outdoor lighting) = 1.0

1000KVA power transformer is expected to be selected for this project.

In this project, a temporary substation is selected from the owner's existing substation as the electricity for the construction and temporary area.

② Power supply selection:

A temporary first-class box transformer has been provided by the owner on the construction site, and our company will connect all power consumption places according to the owner's requirements, and each power consumption place will be equipped with secondary and tertiary distribution boxes according to the power consumption.

(3) The iron shed, steel platform and metal frame related to electrical equipment should be grounded.

(4) Before installation, test the air switch, which must be able to cut off the fault current reliably;

(5) Establish specific equipment installation, cable length selection, and electricity consumption management system, and strictly implement the relevant provisions of the Regulations on Temporary Electricity Consumption in Construction Site of the Fifth Construction Company of China Petrochemical Corporation;
