St. Maitreya Church is the main building of Catholic Church in Heilongjiang Province. 19 (1930) started construction and was completed and put into use at the end of 20 years (193 1). On the north side of the church is the main church, a two-story yellow building with a building area of 360 square meters, which is the office and accommodation place for bishops and vice bishops. There is a two-story blue brick building in the northeast of the church, with a building area of 972 square meters. Upstairs is the meeting room for clergy, and it is also a Christian church in winter. Downstairs are the kitchen, canteen and foreigners' hostel. There is also a two-story blue brick building on the northwest side of the church, with a building area of 794 square meters, which is the office and accommodation place for local and foreign priests. There are three red brick tile houses in the southwest of the church, with a building area of 300 square meters, which are important rooms for beginners to teach.

In July of 36 (1947), Catholic Bishop Hu Ganpu and others used religion to carry out espionage. Qiqihar municipal government took over the church and all its buildings and used it for other purposes. 1958, changed to the address of Qiqihar Circus Group. During the Cultural Revolution, the cross at the top of the church was destroyed and replaced with a red five-star The cross windows around the bell tower were smashed, plastered with cement and marked with four political slogans. Slogans were removed during the Cultural Revolution. 1983, the ownership of church houses was owned by Qiqihar Catholic Patriotic Association. 1February 1987, St. Maitreya Church was designated as a municipal cultural relics protection unit. 1May, 990, the top red five-star was demolished and the cross was rebuilt.
