Ningxia is one of the earliest regions in my country to introduce grapes. More than a thousand years ago, Guan Xiu, a poet from the Tang Dynasty, wrote a beautiful poem about "red fallen grape leaves and slightly fragrant licorice flowers". In his poem "Lingzhou", Ma Zuchang, a poet of the Yuan Dynasty, wrote: "Grapes pity the fine wine, alfalfa lives in the fields", which is the best evidence that Ningxia people have a long history of using grapes to make wine.

Ningxia Helan Qingxue Winery was founded in 2005. It comes at a low point in the development of Ningxia's wine industry. After more than ten years of hard work, the former barren land has been transformed into a boutique demonstration winery with abundant fruits, birds singing and fragrant flowers. Currently, 350 acres of high-quality wine grapes are planted. Among them, 200 acres are Cabernet Sauvignon, 80 acres Merlot, and 20 acres Chardonnay. and varieties such as Malbec and Marselan.
