My street is located in XXXX, with a jurisdiction area of about XX square kilometers and a population of nearly XX million. This used to be an old industrial base in Tianjin, with many enterprises. With the deepening of enterprise restructuring and western development and construction, some old enterprises have been transformed or moved out one after another, and private enterprises have gradually increased, with more than 2,200 large and small enterprises. The problem of relatively weak safety supervision force and relatively difficult supervision has become increasingly prominent, which has brought unprecedented challenges to the supervision of street safety production.

In view of the increasingly severe safety production situation in this area, the team of the street working Committee sized up the situation, faced the reality, regarded the challenge as a test and responded positively. In recent years, under the correct leadership of the district committee and government, under the guidance of the superior safety supervision department, with the close cooperation and strong support of relevant functional departments such as public security fire control, police station and comprehensive law enforcement, and with the active cooperation of various enterprises and institutions in the jurisdiction, our street has closely focused on the theme of safety development, conscientiously implemented the spirit of the superior safety production conference, strictly fulfilled the responsibility of safety supervision, strengthened daily safety production supervision, investigated and eliminated potential safety hazards, and promoted the sound and rapid development of regional economy. Our greatest experience in our work is that to grasp safety work, we must start with the investigation and management of hidden dangers.

In the specific practice of safety supervision, we also realize that safety is no small matter, and prevention and publicity are the key.

In daily safety work, we pay attention to publicity. At ordinary times, the safety supervision cadres and community safety officers in our streets often go deep into enterprises, merchants and communities to make oral safety tips by taking advantage of daily safety inspections; Distribute street printing safety tips to merchants for publicity before holidays; Safety Month uses community bulletin boards, window, banners, slogans, electronic advertising screens and other publicity carriers to organize community safety officers to carry out special publicity activities in crowded places in a timely manner. By playing safety knowledge propaganda films and issuing safety precautions, it has played a positive guiding role in popularizing safety knowledge and preventing accidents. During the Spring Festival this year, our street printed 5000 safety precautions and distributed them to the enterprises and communities under its jurisdiction, which improved the safety awareness of employees and residents of enterprises.

This year, for the first time, the district committee and government implemented the one-vote veto on production safety, and signed responsibility letters for production safety at different levels, which shows that the superiors attach importance to production safety.
