Over the years, our 12th primary school in Nanyang City, Henan Province has been adhering to the school-running philosophy of "teaching children for six years means thinking about children for 60 years and thinking about the country for 65,438+1,000 years". We have established a scientific outlook on life and nature for students since childhood, and cultivated the ecological education concept of loving nature and living in harmony with nature with the little things around us, so that everyone can understand that wild animals and plants are our friends, and protecting them means protecting ourselves and eliminating them. We persisted in doing the following work:

First of all, update teachers' ideas and establish a sustainable development concept of educating people.

The establishment of the concept of school ecological education also puts forward new requirements for teachers:

1. Teachers should establish an ecological moral concept of interdependence and harmonious coexistence between man and nature, consciously guide students, create a green campus and a green community with students, and let students experience the beauty of ecology in a beautiful environment every day.

2. Teachers create opportunities to lead students to get close to and experience nature. Every spring, we always carry out spring outing activities in different grades and set corresponding themes according to different age groups. This year, the theme of the lower grade is "Looking for Spring", the theme of the middle grade is "Close to nature, blend in with nature", and the theme of the higher grade is "Knowing the shame of glory and being the messenger of spring". Make students receive vivid education of loving nature. Understand and protect animals and plants, and be inspired by them to enhance ecological awareness.

3. Optimize the allocation of moral education resources inside and outside the school from the ecological point of view, and study the potential moral education resources in campus, classroom, family and community from the ecological point of view, so as to make the natural and humanistic moral education resources that were not paid attention to and mobilized in the past active, produce the effect of "mutual benefit" and give full play to the joint efforts of educating people. We take advantage of the species diversity of Nanyang, which is located at the intersection of north and south climate. The campus can be planted with coniferous forests in the north, broadleaf plantains and hulk trees in the south, including common grass flowers, precious cycads and camphor trees. The hedges in the four seasons are shaded, and the roses and chrysanthemums in the four seasons are fragrant. However, the greening culture of each classroom is different. Some put flowerpots on the windowsill, and some hang chlorophytum beside the TV, which is very elegant. Every issue organizes students to visit small animals in the zoo and adopt animals according to their family situation. Some adopt monkeys, while others adopt elephants. Through these activities, students learned about the living habits of animals, mastered the basic methods of protecting animals, and made friends with animals.

4. Environmental protection knowledge permeates the classroom teaching. The teaching materials of natural courses have a wide range of contents, integrating biology, astronomy and geography, covering various natural phenomena and having extremely rich environmental protection contents. Natural courses have become the main channel for environmental education for students. For example, the protection of natural ecological balance includes: animals and environment, plants and environment, food chain, rare animals and plants in China and so on. Through learning, students can upgrade from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge, establish environmental concepts and establish environmental awareness.

As a highly unified subject with ideological and instrumental features, Chinese course explores the factors of environmental education, so that students can be influenced by environmental morality while learning language knowledge and improve their comprehensive quality. For example, learn to read the article Snakes and Crops, so that students can understand that protecting snakes means protecting crops. The first-grade text "Giant Panda" and "Woodpecker" help children understand animal knowledge, know that birds are good friends of human beings, and the giant panda is the national treasure of China, and so on.

2. Hold the annual "Bird Love Week" activity.

The launching ceremony of the city's annual "Bird Love Week" is basically held in our school or our school. 3. Use off-campus bases to enrich feelings.

Organize parents and students to visit off-campus bases every year, such as Baotianman in Neixiang, World Biosphere Reserve, Xixia Dinosaur Site Park and Funiu Mountain Wildlife Museum. Watching animal specimens and watching the restored dinosaur show seems to be back to the Cretaceous period.

Since this spring, CCTV has opened the column "Looking for Green Fields". Children are happy to tell each other, watch each other and discuss interesting stories about wild animals together.
