Introduction to the 24th Sports Meeting:

With the consent of the provincial government, the 24th Provincial Games will be hosted by Qingdao. Zibo and Rizhao are co-hosting cities, which is the first provincial games jointly organized by the three cities in our province. The 24th provincial games, the opening time is 201810 12, and the closing time is 201810/0/20, all of them are in Qingdao for fitness.

There are 29 major events and 840 minor events in the competition. The preliminaries of the provincial games will start on March 18 and 20 15, and will all end at the end of August. The final starts on July 16 and ends on July1October 20th 10. There were12,000 athletes participating in the preliminaries of the provincial games, and nearly 9,000 athletes participated in the finals.

On April 2018 17, Rizhao Municipal Government officially sent a letter to the Provincial Sports Bureau to apply for hosting the 25th Shandong Provincial Games in 2022. On July 5th, the provincial government agreed that Rizhao City would independently undertake the 25th Provincial Games. On March 2, 2022, the preliminary contest of surfing in the 25th Shandong Provincial Games kicked off in Lingshui, Hainan, and surfing became the first event in the preliminary contest of the 25th Shandong Provincial Games.
