2. Defensive counterattack stage:
It consists of the second defense of the negative side, the third defense of the positive side, and the second defense of the positive side and the third defense of the negative side for one-on-one attack and defense. The pros and cons will make a summary of the defense.
Each speech should be concise and clear, and the total time of each party should not exceed 1 minute. The attacking and defending parties must complete this round of attacking and defending independently, and are not allowed to change midway.
In each round of attack and defense, the roles of attack and defense are not allowed to be interchanged, the defense is not allowed to ask questions, and the attack side is not allowed to answer questions.
The attacker’s questions should be close to the topic of the debate and should not be difficult. The defense should be specific when answering and avoid answering questions that are not asked. Points will be deducted for repeated questions and evasive questions.
The pros and cons players stand and complete each round of defense. The defense players sitting down within the specified time are deemed to have completed the round of defense.

There is no limit on the order, frequency, and time of speeches by debaters from the same side. If one party's time has run out, the other party can continue to speak or signal to the chairperson to give up.
Active confrontation is encouraged, and 2-5 points will be deducted for those who avoid confrontation more than twice on important issues. If the other party still lingers on questions that have been clearly answered, 5-10 points will be deducted appropriately.
The free debate competition requires concise and clear strengthening of one's own point of view, witty and powerful refutation of the other party's arguments, and it cannot be a hollow attack, intentionally avoiding the other party's questions or causing confusion in opinions and language.
Debaters are encouraged to speak calmly and naturally, and do not advocate aggressive, imposing, reciting or performing language styles.
Advocate a good debating style, focus on popularizing knowledge, enlightening wisdom and showing grace, avoid personal attacks, try to avoid politicians and political events, and try to avoid current sensitive international issues and ethnic and religious issues.
