Earnestly draw lessons from long-term damage control, put an end to destructive behaviors such as indiscriminate reclamation, indiscriminate grazing and indiscriminate mining, curb sand activation, and protect vegetation in sand areas. -Take measures of planting trees and grass to quickly restore forest and grass vegetation in sandy areas. By closing hills (sand) to facilitate afforestation (grass), aerial seeding afforestation, artificial afforestation (grass planting), small watershed management and other measures, the area of forest and grass vegetation will be expanded. -Take the measures of returning farmland to forests (grasslands) to curb the formation of new desertification. For sloping farmland and desertified farmland with low and unstable grain yield, it is planned to return farmland to forests and grasslands. -Take measures such as improving animal husbandry mode, improving animal husbandry structure and improving grassland to restore and improve grassland productivity and ecological function, prohibit grazing in houses, change grazing into captivity, and reduce the pressure of vegetation destruction. -Take reasonable water resources management measures, promote the rational distribution and coordinated utilization of domestic, production and ecological water through water-saving irrigation and water source engineering supporting measures, and improve the utilization rate of water resources. -Take measures to build shelter forests, reduce wind speed, and weaken and prevent sandstorms. Through the construction of grassland shrub forest network and farmland forest network, farmland and grassland will be protected from the harm of sandstorm, and stable and high-yield grain will be promoted. -Through resettlement measures, farmers and herdsmen in areas with poor natural and production conditions will be moved to towns with relatively good surrounding conditions in an organized way, so as to give full play to the self-repair function of the ecosystem and improve the production and living conditions of farmers and herdsmen.
