1949101On October 20th, China People's Insurance Company was established in Beijing with the approval of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the State Council. With the decision of the State Council and the approval of China People's Bank, China People's Insurance Company was reorganized into China People's Insurance (Group) Company in August, 1996, and three insurance subsidiaries were established in Chinese mainland.
