Painting is an art, and it is also a good way to cultivate self-cultivation, which enables students to lay a good writing foundation and writing habits from an early age and enrich their artistic accomplishment in the learning process. Cultivate students' aesthetic cultural quality, improve aesthetic ability, cultivate sentiment and enlighten wisdom. According to the actual situation of our students, our school set up a painting club with fifth-grade students as its main members at the beginning of the semester. This semester, in order to cultivate students' artistic interests and specialties, we continue to actively carry out the second classroom activities, and the painting club is one of the important contents of the school's implementation of this activity. In the teaching of painting, based on the teaching idea of step by step, I used various teaching methods and means to carry out the teaching activities of clubs, which played a positive role in further enriching and developing the second classroom in our school and achieved good results this semester.
First, lay a solid foundation and learn painting step by step. In order to enable students to learn famous calligraphy, I collected a large number of pictures, taking the original works of famous artists as the copybook of painting learning, starting from scratch and step by step. Starting from the initial strokes, let the students learn the basic strokes first, then learn some common radicals and some simple Chinese characters, and finally learn some famous sayings and ancient poems with educational significance according to the writing level mastered by the students. In painting teaching, students should be taught the correct pen holding posture, the control of pen holding weight, writing posture and standing posture. Master the "three ones" standard, that is, the eyes are one foot away from reading, the chest and table edge are punched, and the fingertips are one inch away from the pen tip. In the process of training, let students master how to start, transport, stop and collect pens. Good habits should be cultivated from an early age, and students should be urged in strict accordance with the standards in peacetime training. In addition, students are also required to pay attention to writing hygiene and not to throw scraps of paper at will. Through strict study and training, students can develop good writing habits.
Second, interest-oriented, implement the learning system. At the beginning of the semester, on the basis of the original team members, we further improved our school's painting interest group. In the fifth grade, students who are good at painting and have beautiful fonts will continue to be selected to join the painting club, and the third class training will be held every Wednesday afternoon to encourage students to do exercises every day to make up for the lack of training caused by lack of time and improve learning efficiency.
Third, carry out various painting activities In order to reflect the students' painting learning level and training achievements in a period, many painting competitions were held in the community, which enabled some excellent painting exercises to be displayed in the community and played a leading role in mobilizing. During the semester, the community participates in the exhibition of community works and selects students with a certain foundation to participate in various competitions. And actively provide students with opportunities to exercise, so that some students with good painting quality and high writing level can display their talents, so as to cultivate their sense of competition and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning.
Fourthly, there are some shortcomings in the process of painting teaching. While summing up the achievements and experiences, we should also clearly see the existing shortcomings and problems, and we must take practical and effective measures to seriously study and solve them.
First of all, painting learning is boring, and some students in interest groups are not enthusiastic about painting learning, and their consciousness is poor during practice, so they can't concentrate for a long time. In the future teaching, we must find ways to arouse students' learning enthusiasm and initiative.

The basic task of art in quality education is to carry out aesthetic education through art teaching, so that students can acquire the basic knowledge and skills of art and promote the harmonious development of their intelligence and body and mind. This semester, according to the arrangement of the school, I carried out art club activities, which are summarized as follows: (1) Guide students to understand the basic knowledge of art.
Learn sketch this semester, understand the knowledge of perspective and composition techniques; Learn the basic knowledge of gouache painting, feel the charm of color, experience different fun brought by different colors, and cultivate imagination and innovative consciousness. Cultivate students' aesthetic consciousness, know the beauty of nature, social life and art, and have the consciousness of loving and pursuing beauty.
(2) Teaching students to cultivate their sentiments and cultivate their abilities in the learning process.
We should know more about children and respect their characteristics of thinking and expression. Focus on cultivating four abilities, namely, observation, image memory, imagination and creativity.

The students in the class are selected from the students in Grade Two to Grade Five. Because of the age difference, the painting level of this class is also very different. Junior students are slow to get started, while senior students are more savvy and make relatively rapid progress, so that students in the class draw unevenly, which is not conducive to the development of teachers' teaching content; The content of painting teaching for junior children, some of which are rich in paintings and difficult to grasp the composition, needs to be selected according to the students' situation; There are also some students who do not choose clubs according to their personal hobbies, so their interest is not high. After a semester, their painting level has not improved much, and some students even fidget in class. There are also some students who always have no painting tools because of family conditions. It is not conducive to the development of painting.
3. Personal Work Report of University Fine Arts and Painting Society
At noon on Monday and Tuesday, the handicraft class is aimed at xxx students. From the beginning, more than 60 people signed up, and we selected xx students and divided them into 5 groups with 6 people in each group, led by xx students, and each group worked together to make handmade works. In the first month of handicraft class, our course was mainly soft pottery. The production of soft pottery is very simple, and the task of students is to use their brains to create works with bright colors and strange shapes. In the remaining month, the content of the handicraft class is rich and colorful. The production of masks makes students understand the characteristics of acrylic pigments and simple origami, and makes students understand the simple charm of origami. We even try to use paper carving as a craft and take it as one of the courses next semester. There are gains and disadvantages, and students always lack patience. Once the novelty of learning is gone, they will lose interest in it, so the handicraft class must be more fresh. In the handicraft class, what we need most is to let the students speed up. Senior three students especially like procrastination, slow hands and slow speed. At noon on Wednesday and Thursday, it's time for black and white painting and colored lead painting. Through this semester's course, I can deeply feel that students' growth, composition ability and creative ability have been greatly improved. They can independently decorate simple pictures with lines and other graphics to make them look more beautiful. At the same time, they also know the characteristics of colored pencils, the depth of pens and the mixture of more than two colors, and will independently create an imaginative painting according to the teacher's tips. The art exhibition in June 1 day is undoubtedly the result of our joint efforts.
This semester's art club activities, we have gained gratifying results, but also recognized the shortcomings in the curriculum. The first is the lack of students' basic knowledge of fine arts. Sometimes drawing straight lines and circles is a big problem, and they are even more confused about the three primary colors and the relative colors. So next semester, we plan to hold a two-week sketch class to solve students' basic painting problems. The second is to solve the problem of students' lack of patience and procrastination. In class, students should be required to finish a work and urged to draw carefully.
Through this semester's efforts, I am full of hope for our art club. Next semester, the children's growth will definitely go further.
