What should I do if I receive a letter from a lawyer of CITIC Bank?

Users are advised to actively contact CITIC Bank after receiving the lawyer's letter, and then negotiate how to settle the arrears.

CITIC Bank does send letters from lawyers. If the user is overdue for more than 3 months, and CITIC Bank fails to collect it during this period, it is possible to send a lawyer's letter to the user to prepare for prosecution. As long as the user indicates that he will repay the loan, CITIC Bank will generally not continue to sue. If the circumstances are particularly bad and the user is suspected of maliciously overdrawing the credit card or defrauding the loan, then CITIC Bank will sue the court to recover the arrears.
