Will the SMS whistleblower be investigated?

As long as the informant's report is true, it does not belong to false accusation and frame-up, nor does it belong to illegal acts such as distorting facts. No organ or individual has the right to inquire about any information of informants. If illegal verification is found, the parties may continue to report such illegal verification.

If the relevant departments want to find someone's information, they can certainly find it. However, this involves a question of tracing authority. According to the relevant regulations, if the whistleblower is falsely accused and framed when reporting and needs to be investigated for legal responsibility, then the relevant departments have the right to verify it, but it must be approved by the Commission for Discipline Inspection at or above the city level.

Generally speaking, anonymous reporting will not start the investigation process. Only anonymous reports with objective facts can start the investigation procedure. Objective facts need four elements: time, place, name and reason. If it involves money rights transactions, it is best to have a specific amount; Otherwise, it will only be filed.

Article 29 of the Rules for Handling Complaints by Discipline Inspection and Supervision Organs stipulates that if anonymous complaints fall within the scope of acceptance, the discipline inspection and supervision organs shall accept them according to procedures.

For anonymous accusation materials, the information such as the handwriting of the informant and the Internet protocol address (IP address) shall not be checked without authorization. If it is really necessary to trace the identity of the informant through the above means, it shall be approved by the supervisory Committee of the Commission for Discipline Inspection at or above the city level.

According to the above regulations, no person or organization may report or accuse materials anonymously, and may not view or accuse the information such as the handwriting and Internet protocol address (IP address) of the informant without authorization.
