The prevention and control of geological disasters has two characteristics: one is seasonality, which often occurs during the first rainstorm in flood season; The second is sudden. The hidden danger points of major geological disasters in our region have been controlled, but there are occasional small collapses and landslides. Due to the above two characteristics, emergency cleaning of geological disasters is essential. According to the experience in recent years, the emergency rescue work of the emergency team is timely, but it takes a long time to apply for emergency clean-up funds, and the money is delayed after the work is finished. In order to solve this problem, our department will improve the emergency process, adopt the practice of applying for funds and cleaning up the emergency at the same time, and plan to introduce supervisors to participate in the supervision of emergency projects.

In the first half of the year, the rainfall in our county increased compared with previous years, especially after entering the main flood season, the heavy rainfall weather in our county increased obviously, and heavy rain occurred in some areas, which brought severe challenges to the prevention and control work. To this end, while taking active prevention and control work, our bureau has strengthened publicity and education and information early warning. There are still some difficulties and problems in the prevention and control work in our county, which are mainly manifested in:

They think that disasters are far away from them, and they can't happen every year, and their awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation has declined.

The main types of geological disasters in my hometown are collapse, ground fissure, collapse, river siltation and bank collapse. It is difficult to prevent and control geological disasters, which has formed a serious hidden danger of geological disasters and has an increasing trend. According to the distribution and development characteristics of geological disasters and the analysis of the characteristics of geological disasters in flood season over the years, our bureau has identified three key prevention and control areas of geological disasters:

2. The mining gap of the ore body in the main mining area of Xishan quarry is more than 40 meters, which is easy to cause collapse or landslide.

3. There is a big mountain drop along the railway, and the exposed loose layer (broken accumulation layer, fully weathered layer) and rock weathering are more likely to induce geological disasters in flood season, which must be paid great attention to.
