How to set the phone to silent mode?

There is a mute button at the top left of the phone:

Press the physical mute button on the left side of the mobile phone to mute it in all occasions, turn off the ringtone and inform the volume, and keep the media sound and alarm clock; You can go to Settings-Sound, Vibration and Silent Keys-Mute Mode-and select "Global Mute". There is no mute button at the top left of the phone:
