How does WeChat modify the password?

Wechat password modification, method 1:

1. In the WeChat login interface, click Forgot Password under Password.

2. Select to retrieve the password by mobile phone number. (It is very troublesome and complicated to retrieve the QQ number, which needs to be represented by another QQ number and password. Therefore, the first method is not recommended. )

3. Enter your mobile phone number according to the prompt. Click Next.

4. After entering the mobile phone number, you will be prompted to verify the mobile phone number.

5. Then you will be prompted that the system has sent a short message to your mobile phone. Please pay attention to it. Click OK.

6. Return to the SMS and click the sent link.

7. Then you will jump to the page of resetting the WeChat password, and then enter the new password to repeat it. Click OK.

8. You will be prompted later that the WeChat password has been reset successfully. Click finish.

Method 2:

1. In the WeChat login interface, under Password, select Forgotten Password, and select Retrieve Password by Email.

2. Jump to the page for resetting the WeChat password. If the WeChat account is not bound to a mobile phone, choose to use the email address to reset the password. It is relatively simple to operate, but only if the WeChat account is bound to the mailbox.

3. Then enter the bound email address. Click Next.

4. Then return to the mailbox, receive the opened email, and click the link.

5. Jump to the password retrieval page, enter a new password and repeat it, and then click OK.

6. Finally, you will be prompted that the WeChat password has been reset successfully, and click Finish.

Precautions:

It is best to bind the mobile phone to the mailbox for WeChat account, so as to retrieve the password and facilitate the reset. There are many WeChat applications.
