Pay attention to the dust prevention of the sealing ring in daily use, especially in winter, and often use a dust duster to clean it. In the spring and autumn when the wind and sand are heavy, the sealing ring should be cleaned with a wet sponge every two months. If it is not cleaned in time, the sealing performance of the skylight will be reduced after entering the rainy season, resulting in water leakage. So, how to maintain the skylight at this time? Secondly, it's winter. When driving in winter, the temperature inside the car is higher than that outside the car, which makes the ice and snow around the skylight melt. After a night, it is easy to freeze the skylight glass and sealant frame. At this time, if the sunroof is forcibly opened, it is easy to damage the sunroof motor (for electric sunroof) and the rubber sealing ring. Also, for the automobile sunroof whose sealing ring surface has been painted or flocked, it is best to dry the painted part with a soft cloth, and then coat it with talcum powder, while the flocked part can be dried because of the black velvet on the surface; For electric skylights with sliding rails, the periphery of sliding rails should be cleaned frequently in winter to avoid sand accumulation. After cleaning, use a little engine oil instead of lubricating oil.
