On May 1 day, 2023, Shanghai's outer row was elevated, and the inner ring road was open all day.

May Day holiday in 2023: April 29th to May 3rd, with five days off, including April 23rd and May 6th. During the May Day holiday, Shanghai's outer brand is elevated, and the inner ring road is not restricted all day. Saturday working day on April 23rd and Saturday working day on May 6th are also unlimited.

The rest of the time is restricted, and the restricted scope: the ground roads within the inner ring of the city center, excluding the border roads, shall be subject to the specific sign setting. Passenger cars with licenses from other provinces and cities drive on roads outside the inner ring and border roads, which are not affected by restrictions. The time limit is 2 hours in the morning peak and 2 hours in the evening peak, that is, 7:00-9:00, 17- 19.
