Jin Opera Declares the Heritage of Jin Opera

20111/on October 7th, the Shanxi provincial government formally submitted an application to the Ministry of Culture, and Jin Opera will be declared as "the best practice project of human intangible cultural heritage" by UNESCO. There are only three best practice projects in the world, but China is still blank in this respect for the time being.

According to Zhao, inspector of Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture, Shanxi is a big province of drama resources and consumption in China. There are many kinds of local operas, once as many as 54 kinds, accounting for one-sixth of more than 300 kinds of operas in China, ranking first in the country and having the reputation of "the cradle of China opera". Shanxi maintains about 30,000 opera performances every year, accounting for one-tenth of the national performances, and the theater price ranks among the top in the country. In the modern history of Shanxi, every village has a stage, and opera not only enriches the cultural life of the masses, but also becomes an important medium for popular and emotional exchanges.

Zhou Pu Bangzi, Zhonglu Bangzi, Beilu Bangzi and Shangdang Bangzi are all listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list, which have achieved remarkable results in declaration, creation and research, strengthening inheritance and live performance, and still maintain vigorous vitality, fully embodying the best practice of applying for UNESCO's "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity".

It is understood that the world intangible cultural heritage best practice projects refer to those projects that have been verified in technology, methods, strategies, methods and processes and can produce expected results and outstanding performances, which is the direction that China is striving to declare intangible cultural heritage.

According to Zhao Zhongyue, director of the provincial intangible heritage protection center, it is an exception that Shanxi can have two projects at a time, and all the application materials will be submitted to UNESCO on March 3 1.
