How does the voice on iPhone5 WeChat change from handset to speaker?

1. Click the "WeChat" application icon on the iPhone, as shown in the figure.

2. Find the voice message sent by WeChat friends, press and hold the voice message with your finger, and the function menu will appear. Because the software uses speakers by default, you will see the option of "switch to handset playback", click it to switch to handset mode, as shown in the figure.

Note: The "handset" refers to the head of the iPhone, which is what we usually use when making phone calls. "Speaker" refers to external devices, such as speakers used when playing songs.

3. Then, you can see the message "It's currently the handset playing mode" displayed on the screen, and you can also see an "ear" sign on the right side of WeChat friends. Because it is handset mode, you need to put the phone close to your ear to hear it, as shown in the figure.

4. There is another method, even if it is not set to the handset mode, you can automatically switch to the handset mode by sticking the phone to your ear, as shown in the figure.

Switch to speaker mode

1. If the current voice playback is in handset mode, press and hold the voice message in the same way, and then the function menu option will appear. Click "Switch to Speaker Mode", as shown.

2. Then the message "Currently in speaker mode" will be prompted on the screen, as shown in the figure.
