Through study, I made clear my motivation to join the party. Know why you want to join the party and why you want to join the party. For the progressive youth, what is before us is how to make suggestions and strive to realize the cause of socialist modernization.

After several months' study on Peace Day, I learned the speech made by General Secretary Hu Jintao at the 17th National Congress. I deeply realize that the current scientific and technological revolution is advancing by leaps and bounds, the trend of economic globalization and political multipolarization is becoming increasingly obvious, and the rejuvenation and development of the Chinese nation are facing new opportunities and challenges. In this case, in order to consolidate our party's ruling position and make China stronger, we must rapidly develop productive forces and improve comprehensive national strength, so that China's economic and social development will always meet the development requirements of advanced productive forces; Inherit and carry forward the excellent cultural traditions of the Chinese nation, so that the development of China culture conforms to the development direction of advanced culture; Quickly improve people's living standards and meet people's growing material and cultural requirements.

I am well aware that under the new historical conditions, it is of great practical and long-term significance to consciously and deeply study the history of the Party, party constitution and Theory of Three Represents for consolidating our Party's ruling position and promoting the cause of building Socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Through several months' study, I have more deeply realized the historical responsibility of activists who join the Party in a new era, strengthened my belief of "serving the people wholeheartedly", corrected my motivation to join the Party, and moved closer to the Party organization with practical actions. I also made it clear that I will work hard in the future:

First, study hard the Party's relevant theoretical knowledge, set strict demands on yourself according to party member's standards, and arm your brain with the Party's theoretical knowledge. Pay attention to the study and creation of one's world outlook, outlook on life and values, and do more practical things and good deeds for the people.

The second is to strengthen the communist belief, constantly enhance the confidence and ability to overcome difficulties, and correct the motivation to join the party. Only by correcting the correct motivation to join the party can we produce and maintain the correct behavior of joining the party, withstand the long-term test and investigation of the party organization, and correctly treat some specific problems encountered in the process of striving for joining the party.

Third, I will persist in studying and persevere, bearing in mind that joining the party is once in organization and once in thought. First, join the Party ideologically, find out your own gap according to party member standards, correctly understand yourself with a high degree of consciousness, strictly analyze yourself, strengthen your confidence, pursue persistently, and make yourself more progress.
