Two types of meetings. A type of meeting is a meeting held in the name of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, requiring the participation of responsible comrades from provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities under separate state planning or central departments. Category II meetings are convened by the Party Central Committee and ministries and commissions and agencies directly under the State Council. According to the "Standardized Guidelines for the Re-election Work of Grassroots League Organizations" issued by the Chinese Government website, the grassroots organizational committees of the League (including the grassroots committees, general branch committees, and branch committees of the League) shall convene before the expiration of their term (generally one to two months in advance). The committee meeting will study matters related to convening a general meeting of league members for general elections. The grassroots organizational committee of the League belongs to the category of grassroots organizations belonging to the Communist Youth League of China, so the general meeting of the Youth League is two types of meetings.
